As of April 1st, the Island Air waitlist is open with limited availability. Placement is on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to students who have began or completed Accelerated or Regular Ground School at Island Air.

Pre-Requisites for the Waitlist

 

Intro Flights – No pre-requisites are required to be added to the Intro Flight waitlist.

 

Private Pilot Training – A valid Transport Canada Medical (minimum Category 3) is required prior to joining the waitlist.

 

• Island Air Flight School will administer the PSTAR (Student Pilot Permit) and Radio License (ROC-A) during an appropriate phase of your Flight Training.

 

• If you have already began training at another flight school, currently have a valid TC medical and would like to continue your training at Island Air please reach out to us in the Contact Us! form with a brief summary of your PPL journey and a member of our team will asses your situation.

 

IFR Training – A valid pilot licence and a valid INRAT are required.

Due to weather, aircraft availability, and instructor capacity, wait times may vary. When a position becomes available, we will contact you primarily by phone. If multiple contact attempts are unsuccessful, your position on the waitlist may be forfeited.
